Watching the video I immediately noticed two things:

1st)
Helges accent is slowly shifting towards barcelona,

2nd)
no telephone rang in the background while he was recording the vid

;)

No, seriously: That´s great work - again!

If you're maybe missing studioNEST "PixelParticles" from the offerings,
it has been stated elsewhere that it is being "rebranded" and will return...

From an Open Source point of view it might be interesting to note,
studioNEST seems to have adopted the "GNU Lesser General Public License"
instead of the "GNU General Public License" (they used earlier as far as I can recall),
for all of their open source products (meaning the new versions of "Melena" and "Brigks" are affected too).
Not that it matters much to the most of us, but it's good to know anyway.

somebody test?
How about texture projections on fracture object? for example I made my object and do unwrapping then apply kratos, its made other fracture object with none texture projection on theirs pieces.
can you help me?
else pieces jittering often
How can I animate transform position or parent my fracture Deform RBD? its work only if not moving!
not working plot in icecache

hi!
Much thanks to Helge and studiNEST for these great addons !!. BTW is there is special way to render the simulations with MR ? I tried rendering the basic MOM wall collapse(tutorial 8 in the vimeo channel) but i keep getting the same frame(sometimes first frame and sometimes last frame) rendered again and again, should i cache the simulation first or something ? sorry if i sound noobish i never tried simulation before :D

cheers!

As much as I dislike having to send someone to another forum, in this case it's probably best if you ask your question in this thread on the XSIBase, as that's the place where the people from studioNEST have set up shop so to speak...

Don't get me wrong: this isn't the wrong place to post these kinds of questions. At the moment, however, the thread I mentioned at the XSIBase seems more active (and includes studioNEST's involvement), thus increasing your chance at a fast and (hopefully) correct answer somewhat. ;)

So, "just" another "multiphysics" solver?
Or am I missing the point once again?

...cloth and softbodys are now integrated in Momentum. So it´s an enhancement ;) Big advantage to have all the sim in one (physics-)engine. It does not seem that AD does focus on brining the physics integration in SI an further. So Helge´s developments are very use- and powerful.

cheers,
oliver

Don't get me wrong: this actually seems quite a useful addition to our ever-increasing toolset (provided mr. M. finds some time to fix some bugs too), but Lagoa offers some cloth and softbody functionality, while offering no RDB, while this seems to offer RDB, cloth and softbody, while offering no SPH related sims. Next up Softimage "only" has to open up to the full set of tools PhysX seems to have on offer & we'll have three multiphysics solutions that partially solve the different physical simulation stuff we want to throw at them. Not something you can "blame" mr. M. for. What he's showing here, is obviously quite interesting.
But "just" another "multiphysics" solution in my book nonetheless anyway... :-?
