Softimage 2010 Viewport

Post by starcow » 10 Apr 2022, 17:12

I'm still working with my beloved Softimage 2010 (unfortunately I don't have a 2015 license).
I'd like to continue working with Softimage in the future and I'm wondering whether there might be a way to add a viewport to Softimage 2010 that can do a bit more. E.g. display specular and normal maps directly?

Many thanks.
Cheers, starcow

Xoliul Shader in resources.php page of this site, should display specular and normal maps in viewport.
But seems it not valid in recent version of SI

BTW. most non "screen space" effects (e.g. AO) should simply achievable using build in real time shader

Oh, did I miss something? Since when is that the case? It's free if you have an old license or is it completely free for everyone. That would be awesome!

This is my mistake, 2015 SP2 got a license from 2015 SP1
I was already happy :)
