Hello,
When using the latest build of Sycles and lighting a scene using a HDR environment map is there a way that I can see the map/environment in the render? When I set this up as per the instructions in the user guide my background is black and I do not see environment displayed in my viewport. If I look on page 12 of the Sycles user guide there is an image of a cube being rendered with the hdr image lighting the environment and also showing in the background...but as I said, I don't see this.... I see my lit geometry displayed on a totally black background.
Also, is it possible to change the angle of the hdr environment ?
Any ideas ?
Joe

・Just to be sure, are you using new or merged scenes instead of scenes from previous Cycles versions to resolve the glitch?
・Did you uncheck Transparent in the Background tab of the Cycles Renderer Options?
To rotate the image, add cycMapping and enter a number in the Y value to rotate the image horizontally.
Try putting something like 0.05 in the Y value.
