I come back to it and try to find again a time to study it... but it's only for a personal project and after coming back on Maya/Max for a short project (2 months... Maya is very a shot and 3DS Max is too bad of Maya) I appreciate a lot XSI and Houdini. Unfortunetelly XSI not have more markets so I focus more of my energies on Houdini!

BTW. "base point" is still a ambiguous name :)

Im still using softimage. For work I use Houdini

Softimage XSI is the most tactile, 'in the hand' feeling software Ive ever used. Feels close to actually using your hands to manipulate things.
