hey guys im a bit lost here, i think its a fairly simple thing to do but i can not remember how to do it
basically i have a grid which i assigned a weight map, now i want to give this grid 2 colors or lets say 2 textures, where the weightmap is black i wanna give it a color, where the weightmap is blue (painted) i wanna give another shader.
How do i do this, possibly with redshift? Im using a proximity map so i have another object sitting on top of the grid which then have the weightmap cast on its surrounding geometry, i basically wanna use this setup to create shading depending on the position of the geometry.
assigning texture and shaders to weightmap
Re: assigning texture and shaders to weightmap
edit: nevermind i just figured it out how to do this, using a color_map_lookup (set to weightmap) plugged into a redshift material blender so to mix the 2 shaders, once you have the weightmap.
