Seems so, but i think i'll never touch Houdini

I tried to get into houdini. and then proceeded to go back to softimage.

its modeling...well, it becomes obvious that after using it for about an hour that it's not meant to be used as a modeler exclusively.

I never got into particle and effects part. maybe I'll try it someday...in the distant future...

there are some people who think Houdini is superior to XSI/Softimage. but I've heard people actually making Houdini compounds in Softimage.
