Fantastic release! The modeling tools look really nice, along with everything else. I always thought Mantra looked like a great render engine, but a lot of people will like the addition of 3rd party renderers in Indie.

OMG. Another release of software than no one at Autodesk uses. If they don't use it, why should we?

BTW. Is Bellsey working right now for SideFX?

Not just the 3rd party renderer support for Indy, but also a ton of interesting new features. :)

No more excuses, time to get serious with Houdini ;-)

No, I don't work for SideFX.
I'm the CG Modelling Supervisor at creative marketing agency. We do alot of product visualisation, though one of our main forte's is automotive.

Is it weird that I find the double click edge loop selection the most exciting thing? :-B

Great release as always. SideFx still have the momentum.

@SamHowell - you're not alone ;-) I had the same reaction too. What's worse is when you're still pressing A+MMB... :)) or maybe that's just me!

It is not weird at all Sam, achieving work fluidity and intuitivity is at another level in software.

Unfortunately rare.
