Hi guys,
I´ve finished an animation and now I making some tests with the Matte Pass. In my scene test, the ground is red. The scene has a sphere. With FG, the red color bleeds on sphere. ok. If I render the sphere separately, the FG effect doesn´t work on sphere.
In my animation project, the camera won´t move. There´s a scenary and a character. I want render one frame of the scenary and render the total animation of the character, separately. To get the FG effect of the ground bleeding, I must render the ground with the character, together in the same matte pass?
Thanks,

Re: Matte Pass and FG effects
If i understood, you need the sphere for the color bleed effect but you don't wankt to see it in the render cause it block your empy background that you need for the matte; it's right?
If it is, i'm not pretty sure, but you can try to go in the Visibility options of the Sphere and turn off the Primary Rays; in this way the FG it's casted but the sphere it's not visible.
Hope i remember good.

Thanks, Diurno.
Actually, I remembered this option these days. Sorry, I didn´t post it before.
Thanks, anyway.
