Like I said, it's highly subjective, but I like my books to have some words in them.
"The Art Of XSI" basically is a printed slideshow of steps you can follow along, like a highly visual tutorial.
This method can be very helpful to some (hence: "highly subjective" :D ),
but to me at the time wasn't really what I expected/hoped for.
And my eagerness to buy this book even made me pay much more
(i.e. the initial price) for it than the later, admittedly much fairer price...
;)

Like other have said the videos have totally taken over in the SI area.. There's some great videos out there.. But I'm with you on this one.. I wish AD would release something.. I like something to flip through and bookmark..
