aaocean ice foam

Post by Maximus » 07 Feb 2023, 10:54

hey guys, im tryin to use aaocean ice setup and it works fine, im just trying to figure out how to use foam and how it should be set up and connected.

here is a screenshot, you can enable foam from the main aaocean compound and the node has a scalar output but i have no clue what to connect there and how to make it works.
anyone have used it and can help?

thank you!

Check the Foam checkbox and insert a Foam scalar into a weight map, for example, and use it as a filter for particle generation.

And if I use egnVector as velocity, I can create simple bubbles.
I'm thinking something like that, but if anyone has a better way to use it, I'd like to know too!

I used the "XOcean" deformer also for it's scalar output for weightmaps.

Did you try both ?

Didn't try AAocean (yet)
But they seem very similar, also for the available outputs !
