I was going to be smart and say just do it in maya and import to XSI but it would be nice to have this in XSI natively. It seems the MAX plugin is more sturdy as the maya one just works on low poly meshes according to the plugin website.

I do it in MAX now,but i want to keep the mesh topology in SI same like MAX as possible, don't want to export it use FBX(triangle),if don't use the triangle,the topology(some N-gon) can't maintained in SI, need to fix the hole

You can use Rock generator, it has an option to use the source geometry
Also for the edge wearing, there is a mental ray shader for this task. You can also combine it with edge corner shader too. In order to save convert the edge wear to geometry, you should use something to write it out like this: http://www.andynicholas.com/?p=57

Rock Generator is good,i make some detail on the mesh,and then reduce the polygon can also have a good result.
