Viewport2 and Modeling Toolkit

Post by geoath » 01 Jul 2014, 12:00

I don't know if this is a bug or i make something wrong, so could someone repro the following?

1) if not already, switch to Viewport2
2) create a cube
3) activate Modeling toolkit
4) press "3" in your keyboard to subdivide the cube, NO SUBDIVISION!!!
5) press twice "3" and it subdivides :)

is this normal? in Legacy viewport it works as expected(press the key once not twice!).
the same happens when pressing "1" to switch from subdivision to no subdivision, and when pressing page up/down to change the subdivision level (a mess). Something goes wrong when working with the modeling toolkit in Viewport2, could someone elaborate it's not only my problem?

thanks in advance

Worked on my end. No problems here. Might be a video card issue. Which card are you using?

Re: Viewport2 and Modeling Toolkit [PROBLEM SOLVED]

problem solved!

i tried something simple and it worked.
i renamed the userPrefs.mel in the prefs folder in something like prefs_old, and restarted Maya.
Now it works as expected. :)
it seems I've messed something with the preferences.
