i'm trying to bool these 2 polymeshes exactly as they are, so to receive the needed seam line, resp. some polygons i need. Unfortunately bool is not catching and nothing happens in the end. What can i do to save the task ?

i actually got it by rotating the polys of 1 side of the cyl by 0.1, that pulled the edges away from cross points on the other object. Its working, but not 100% correct any more.
