render particle problem

hey all
i have a scene with particles but when my particles count goes more than 100,000 i cant render them.it gives me an error "ignoring parameter point"

what are you rendering them with OGL? MR? If MR, turn on the MR diagnostics in the "render manager" that might help you find out whats going on.

im rendering with arnold and i can render the particles till frame 16 after that (frame 17) i cant see them in ther render pictures! seems when the particles counts grows up more than 100,000 they are not renderable

You should probably ask on the arnold mailing list, sure people there will have had experience with that.

I doubt very much it is the number of particles as we have rendered a bunch of particles and lots of strands with Arnold. More likely to be something else such as you are setting particle size to zero or something like that.
