19e Brigade le Silence
19e Brigade le Silence
Done with Softimage and blender (using cycles for the simple rendering). Post composition and paint over in photoshop

Thanks to Marcella for her nice texture and to Lennon for his great advice

Re: 19e Brigade le Silence
I'm getting this image (hosted at conceptart.org) blocked with a Mal/ObfJS-CZ warning from my sophos
Whole conceptart.org is blocked for me upon further inspection...
(I don't think there's reason to shy away from conceptart though.. I've had sophos report a LOT of false positives... including my own softimage scripts)

Re: 19e Brigade le Silence
Hi, thanks action art
Yes, is an higres, now I working (studying) another model but want doing something in low res for game (non more than 15000 poly)
Here the model:
I using cycles because is fast, very fast and very simple to use, also output is nice for my purpose, so don't see why lost time to tweak mental ray in work like this. I must say I'm ignorant about rendering, I need to study it more intensively, but mental ray has not a so great appeal to me (It is not a MR fault, the problem is my poor brain cannot match with mental ray logic). Also I love paint in 3d, and with cycles can paint and have a immediately result of your textures, or cage something in your material and control in a second or two the result. As I said, very fast (but you need two nvidia card: one for rendering and another for the viewport, I have a 460 1gb for my viewport and a 570 2 gb for cuda cycles rendering)
I uploaded the image on photobuchet, like you sometime conceptart appear like a malware
Thanks for your comments
