Hi,
i was wondering if i can make a cut-out by pushing in a polygon, or duplicating edges or points and pushing them in. I tried it but it wasn't yet working. Thought i had seen that technique once somewhere but can't remember how it goes.

How to make a cut out without bool ?
Re: How to make a cut out without bool ?
There are many ways to that
add an edge-loop
select both sides you want to cut
use bridge to cout out your polygon selection and delete the unnecessary polygons

The one he just deleted.
BTW I would do it like gabora said. But I don't use the bridge tool very much so it may be faster for me to just delete and add polygons.
