here a (very) quick look at the new V-Ray 3.0 volume rendering of emFluid5 3D grids.
It's just a little something to show that Softimage is NOT DEAD and that things are still being developed :-)

Looks like pretty quick rendering, and I don't know why, but even the realtime shading looked good lol

It is actually that the viewport render looks "more realistic" because it has more defects.
