African Tomb Raider Character ("mild nudity")

Hi good people.

I started to work on a little personal project. It's not very original, but it certainly a lot of fun.
She's a black South African version of lara Croft. Not sure yet what to name her, but that will come. This is early work in progress, so any comments will be much appreciated.C

Re: Wave-Curl Compound by Werner Ziemerink

I've tested my Wave Curl Compound together withAmaan Akram's Tessendorf wave generator, and it works as expected. You are right Dof. It would be great if people could build on top of this and see if they can incorporate some of the cool features seen in the Milk videos. My ICE knowledge is very limi...

Re: XPS it! tv ad

sekow>> No, We found out about Amaan's plugin after this job was finished. We used a compound called Gerstner Waves...Someone uploaded it to the old Soft|Net website.

Deracus>> I will see if I can do a write-up on some of the processes we used.

Thanks for the comments!

Soft transitions between states

I'm playing around with states which is really powerful and fun, but was wondering if there was a way to have softer transitions between particles being triggered into next states? My first state forces particles to follow along a curve. Then it's triggered by a "test time in state" to mov...

exocortex and Autodesk

Does anyone know if Exocortex is still developing a fluid system for Softimage? I was really happy to learn that they became partners with Softimage before the acquisition, and since Autodesk took over, nothing new has surfaced. These guys do some amazing stuff, and it would be horrible if this fell...

Has anyone tried this new version, and if so, how does it compare to applications like Mudbox and ZBrush?

Yes, I'm sure it can. This was done while learning more about ICE, and I would probably do things differently now. It does work tho. :)
