Re: PolyMesh Duplicator v1.1
hey nassosy, do you think it would be possible to take a group of instancing meshes instead of a single mesh that gets duplicated? This would be really awesome to get an exact copy of the pointcloud as geometry! I don't understand the question. :-\ Let me show you with a screenshot... What I mean i...

Re: PolyMesh Duplicator v1.1
Ok, now you can convert your pointcloud to a polymesh directly without having to open any ICE-trees! I have also added a GNU General Public License so this addon remains free. I hope this is ok with you ^:)^ I simply added the following functionality: New function "PolyMesh Duplicator for Point...

Re: PolyMesh Duplicator v1.1
Hi nassosy,
Thank you for sharing your addon, it's very useful!
I would like to modify your script a little to automatically plug in a pointcloud into the "Transform to Pointcloud" node. Do you mind if I re-publish your modified work here?

Re: mbFeatherTools Released
thanks for your comments :) Edit: ok, wow, there seems to be much more interest in the plugin than I expected! I rethought the pricing - get the plugin now for an introductory price of €136 per seat, including taxes. Concerning the justification, I am working on more videos showing what this plugin ...

Very beautiful work! I especially like the library.
2 things I prefer in the sketch over the 3D model:
- The shape of the eyes
- The black eyebrows

Re: Scatter Particles Per Poly
As a workaround, you should be able to emit at positions but then get self.pointposition, then get the closest location on the emitter, plug that into Set Data (self.emitlocation), and plug that into the On Creation port of Add Point. I tried it here and it works, but on XP32, natch. yay! that work...

Re: Scatter Particles Per Poly
thanks guys,
I will post here if I find any solution, which I doubt will happen.
If somebody can confirm that this issue doesn't exist on windows 7 I would be grateful!
(I have to decide wether to move to XP or wait for Windows7)

Re: Scatter Particles Per Poly
I can plug those ports together over here. I tried in 2010, 7.5, 7.01. and 7.0, and they all work. Thank you grahamef for checking out the compound. I tried it under WinXP and it works! So on Vista 32bit this is just not possible... GOOD TO KNOW! If somebody can report this bug it would be nice, be...

I'm using 7.01 32bit on Vista. So what could be causing this? I'll give it a try on an XP machine.

Scatter Particles Per Poly
Hi all, I'm trying to place n particles on each polygon of a geometry. The problem is that 'Add Point' doesn't seem to accept an 'Array of Location per Polygon'. Is this an ICE limitation or am I missing something here? Feel free to try out the compound: http://www.mbanimation.com/Add%20Points%20per...
