Sounds strange to me - the only thing I can think of is that you have some prefs set that the UI is accessing that the batch is not, are you running the batch on your machine, using the same login and running from the Softimage CMD?

Thanks - out of interest, is it possible to export the mesh this generates as an obj .xsi etc... - maybe we can get a 2012 going to use it and revert the asset backwards??

I am guessing this is a 2012 thing only - scene does not load here - we are still on 2011 sap SP1!!

We use ICE heavily in Production here at Triggerfish - We are making a Stereoscopic Movie called Zambezia - without ICE all our Birds would have no feathers!!! We have flocks going with ICE, ICE in Rigs, sliding Eyelids using ICE etc...etc... - so for someone to say that is very shortsighted!!
