Re: SItoA-7.1.4
Just a question about licensing.. It appeared on github that sitoa was made free. Is that correct? I'm a bit confused as it doesnt appear to check for a license, but it still renders with a watermark. I wonder if anyone could tell me what the deal is?

e4 Pirate Ident.
I recently completed this job for E4. Needless to say, it was totally Softimage for the CGI elements. All compositing was After Effects and Mocha (I love using Mocha almost as much as Softimage in its own way) I also used Zbrush and Photoshop and Agisoft photoscan and others. https://vimeo.com/29791...

Can ICE strands have motion blur in Redshift?
Hi, I've made some hair in Redshift, but it doesn't seem to have any motion blur when I render it.
I have tried adding a Strandvelocity attribute. I'm not sure what else to do (apart from switching motion blur on for deformation etc)
Does anyone have any experience or ideas?

Agisoft Photoscan as a camera tracker extraordinare
Hi, just a tip. I wonder if anyone else has tried this. ( shocked that it worked. Hence the post!) Feed a video (sequence of Jpegs) of a moving camera shot into Agisoft Photoscan. It generates not only a mesh, but all the camera positions for each frame. ( when you've got the cameras aligned, dont u...

Re: Baking out shapes?
Thanks so much for the reply.. After some fiddling, I found out that you can do it if you select the clip weight ( the one in the explorer) and then plot the marked value. I made a little script, so I could select them all in the mixer and do it in one fell swoop. I always found it a little counteri...

Baking out shapes?
Hi There. Does anyone know how to bake shapes to keyframes? I have some shapes driven by expressions, but I need to export it as FBX and the expressions don't translate of course. Hence I need shape animation curves as baked keys. I can't see a way of plotting this but I'm sure there's a way. Does a...

Re: Grid deform by curve and interpolate between outer curves
Just a note about my videos being down. I was Vimeo pro and downgraded. They don't like it if you do that. What they do, which I find outrageous, is threaten to delete a lot of your videos unless you stay pro. They are not deleted yet but are not on view, After a lot of angry back and forth, I found...

Thanks Eric, it's very kind of you.
I was recently thinking of purchasing Emfluid.
It does feel a little sad too, but awesome to now have your cool stuff to play with,
Wishing you all the best in future endeavours.

Re: Fabric Engine EOL
Yes. I understand that nodes are not as efficient as code. But if your role is to improve their nodal system through feedback, bypassing nodes and using code isn't very useful in achieving that end. The bottom line is that code will never really attract people who don't know already how to code or h...
