Re: Kristinka Hair 3.0 released
Thanks for showing my otto|rig work Izze :) i've been on the fence for a while now whether or not to share it. @FXDude: I'm really glad you liked what you saw of otto|rig :ymblushing: I made those videos back in March of 2012 and otto|rig has evolved quite a bit since then (I really need to get new ...

Re: Motion Trail on viewport -Version Up
Taro, I'm sorry to report another bug while you are wrestling with the neutral pose one. But the first and last frames do not have tangent handles. The workaround is to set keys one frame before and after the animation range, but that feels very awkward. Again, thank you for sharing this wonderful t...

Thank you for taking the time to look into that issue, Taro. We are anxiously awaiting the bugfix; I check back every day to see if a new version has been released yet.

Re: Motion Trail on viewport -Version Up
First off...this tool is AWESOME!!! But it has a pretty big bug. It doesn't take into account neutral pose (and potentially pivot and pivot compensation either) So when you try to manipulate the keys and tangents on controls that have rotational values stored in the neutral pose, the transformation ...

Re: Motion Tools 1.0
I'll talk to the studio owner about sharing out the imagery after the project has gone public. But long and short we were able to do Kaleidoscope style imagery with products really easily. As far as being fixed in 1.0, that is where the problem showed up. I had to take some elements out of the 0.4 c...

Re: Motion Tools 1.0
First off, ^:)^ thank you so much for for creating and sharing this tool. It has been very easy for me to get non-tecnical artists who have barely touched Softimage to make some great looking stuff using 'Motion Tools'. FYI: I did, however, have to hack in the version 0.4 "Modify and Modulate P...

Thanks so much Greg! I'll pass on the praise to the team.
OT- Sushi sounds great. Axiom is really good in Fort Worth, but I don't know how it is in Dallas.

Re: AICP Southwest 2011 Sponsor Reel
Thank you for the kind words. Coming up with something unique, that was one of the hardest things...that and the 5 weeks of crunching it in between paying gigs ;)

Re: AICP Southwest 2011 Sponsor Reel
Glad you caught the "Back to the future Easter egg" There is another one (not necessarily a Delorian) in there as well. The train set was shot over at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth Texas. Obviously the moving characters, birds, and cars, but there we some still characters, cars & props...

AICP Southwest 2011 Sponsor Reel
The company that I am at (Element X Creative) used Softimage and the Arnold renderer for the 2011 AICP sponsor reel. Arnold and Softimage were a dream to work with on this project. Softimage's nonlinear capabilities were a huge asset in this tight production. From the EXC press release: "Our cr...
