I'm actually using Edge, might sound crazy but MS finally got it right this time around for their OS integrated browser. What needs to be changed so that when I click on Help in the menu it opens the local files?

Since all it ever really did was direct you to Autodesk's website does anyone have an actual local copy of the full help file? The webpage that had them hosted by Autodesk doesn't exist anymore.

I would LOVE a true XSI layout clone for Blender. They one they have now only just changes minor things like colors but that's it. I wanna see a full UI and keymap clone. I'd switch to blender if that happened.

An old XSI Base tutorial made by the user that went by "everyFrame" for a really good foot roll setup no longer exists. Maybe he's on here or someone here knows him and can upload to youtube?

PBR realtime shader?
Been doing a lot of poking around in the plugins area and expanding the capabilities of SI 2015 but something I can't seem to find is a PBR realtime shader. I don't know much about making one from scratch tbh, pretty much looking for something I can use and edit to get a realtime view of a game mode...

It's a permissions issue, this is so weird and dumb. I've never had to go into the actual start menu shortcut, right click and run as admin. Ran this on this PC so many times without these issues, windows is dumb, I've had annoying permissions issues in the past with previous versions (win7).

Yeah, that sounds like it could create more problems by throwing other things out of whack. SI 2015 seems to have no problem but I have a few things saved in Mod Tool 7.5 that can't be transferred over since they left out EMDL export so I'm stuck using it for some things. Thanks, I'll check this out, will probably want to dissect it to see how it all works. Plotting will be done on export since I'm using dotXSI 3.x for the game engine and the exporter does that all automatically. The character is already setup this way using a shadow rig.

I got it working, blaming windows and its user permissions being weird. The file saved with the changes but its like it was reading from a cached version or something. Only until after went in and took full control of the folder did the changes take effect.
