Bitwig 3 Beta 1 is a music/audio software with nodal system that has just been released to any current license holder.
Bitwig is a music DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and now includes a nodal system like XSI ICE. It runs on Windows, macOS & Linux
Collaboration is built into the initial design but will be over ethernet first and then later internet when it does finally arrive. It took the nodal system 5 years to arrive.
The update system is 'pay for a year in advance' but the software doesn't expire when the year is out.

Some other DAWS with nodal systems Ableton 'Live' has MAX for Live. A VST plug-in system that works with many DAWs: Reaktor https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... reaktor-6/
Other options for non nodal DAWS are the free Windows only http://www.cakewalk.com and the very reasonably priced $60 Reaper https://www.reaper.fm with few MIDI instruments (Some don't like MIDI anyway) or Studio One has is another linear DAW with a modern workflow and lots of built in devices and instruments https://www.presonus.com.

It looks fancy. I'm using Reaper but only for some basic stuff. It's probably just as powerful but its outdated user interface isn't exactly an invitation to explore the software further.

Bitwig nodes seems like you're building a modular synth, so it's more like a render tree.
Can it do graphs with audio analysis, like combining audio triggers or effects and MIDI events? This would be more at the core of the software, so like an ICE tree then.

Re: Bitwig 3 Beta 1 DAW Music Audio Nodal (ICE)
For example a while ago I wanted to have pitch bend affect only MIDI notes for which keys are actually down (not notes that are held down by sustain)
I could imagine by combining a few of the right nodes you could achieve something like that easily.
