Hello softimage community members,
Im new here on the forum, im also starting to learn Softimage. I normal use 3ds Max, been working with Max about 3 years now.
But when i saw some Ice videos and Lagoa and realised that its quite powerfull and very interactive compared to Pflow, Box,etc so i decided to learn this software.
Ive been using it for about a month now and i must say its awesome. Been playing mainly with Ice, some basic modeling,etc.
I have a basic question but i cant figure it out, ive made some cloth using a simple grid, applied a texture map (UVW map) to the grid assigned a material.
Looks as should, but when i simulate the material stays in place like its only projected to the grid, doesnt follow the movement of the grid. What im i doing wrong?
Thanks;
(Excuse my English)
Some help needed.

Ok i figured it out, i had to 'freeze the texture projection transformations' in the texture editor.

Hello XSIConvert
welcome to our little forum!
Another way to do it would be to use the explorer to locate the sample* cluster* under the object, and freeze the "Texture Projection" property directly below.
some softi lingo
....
sample = polygon corner, those items which can be assigned UVs
cluster = set of polygons, samples, edges or points (aka components)
the sample cluster is usually named sth like "Texture_Coords_AUTO"
