2D Background pic Unsupported?

hi, i don't understand why much useful shaders are not supported! what 's the alternate shader to replace 2D Background pic?

It's still there but hidden under the "more..." items (Pass Shaders->Output->Add->Insert->More)

ooh... but i wonder why they hide these useful shader such as _2D_Gradient? There are some replacement?
