mr haze effect
hi, This picture is in mr architect shader tutorial, it says use the haze parameter. I made a test scene, but i find that it not affect the back hill.

just plug the same physical sky shader into the lens shader stack, then play with the visibility distance parameter. This will disconnect the photographic exposure shader so you have to add it again to the lens shaders and as a last step you need to change the order of the physical sky and the exposure shader by clicking on one of them in the render tree and choosing move up or down.

oh I see!
you wanted to know how to do it! Im sorry, I thought that was your render and I could plainly see that the haze effect WAS enabled on those hills. doh!
if you want to achieve similar then plug the physical sky mia shader into the volume port of the material node of the pass as well as the environmental shaders port. (see pic)
it does seem (in 2011) cant immediately do this with an already connected and setup sky shader which is what you want to do, but if you right click on the passes volume shader port and choose 'add item' you are then allowed to connect the sky shader to the volume port.
