Assign a single material to multiple object

Post by Diurno » 04 Jun 2010, 08:33

Hi all, just for a quicker workflow, i'm wondering if there is a way to set up that when i select multiple object and i go to assign a new material, si create only a material assigned to all object, instead of a single material identical for every object selected.

I know i can create with a single object and then select the othen ones and go to Material --> assign material; mine it's just a question for optimize my workflow ^^

Create a group, add objects to group, add material to group.
or
create the material in the material editor, select all objects, assign material to all objects from within the ME.

Nice little plugin, but not really necessary when using the ME or group workflow.
