Is there anything in Maya 2020 I should be impressed about?
And no, this not meant as a cynical remark: I've been "out of the game" for a while now, so I really can't tell anymore... :-?
Stay safe, sane & healthy!

Seems like it's all mostly performance and auto caching and finetuning UI things. Nothing new and fandangled, which is ok. But that was my take from the video.

marker on timeline or on keys is a useful one... consider coding a CDH timeline for softimage for a long time...
btw. this is one custome display host version timeline plugin on old XSIBASE.com, I remember...

That one is for 4.0, and mainly focus on "dopesheet on time", before XSI implement manipulate frames on timeline.
