Instanciate 1 seat to amphitheater formation auditorium

Hi,
what is a typical way to instantiate a seat (cube) model to a amphitheater formation auditorium with ICE ?
So each cube is faced to the center of the stage, and each outer row of cube-seats is a bit elevated to the inner cube-seats, and offset so each cube looks through in between two cubes in-front of it.
I can do it with manual instantiation, but wanted to try out ICE this time.

did you try using an orientation node..like 'align to position'? that seems like it would work.
