Strands between curves or something

Hi all, i remember there was a plugin that creates strands betweem curves or something like this. For example to make a baskestball nest
Any clue?

Never mind i think Strandwire Compound can do the job

Also LK Fabric is a nice set of tools for all sorts of weaving
