3d Knitting

hey guys, i'm tryin to make this compound work and its not working for me with a simple surface nurbs plane and a pointcloud with ice tree (unsimulated) and the node connected to it.

anyone have any info? i've just replicated whats on that screen, using softimage 2013sp1. When i connect ns_nurbstoWire nothing happens, no strands are created.
any help would be appreciated

P.S. ok nevermind, there was a disconnected node inside the compound, the integer node was disconnected from the pass trough
