Broken layers on materials in 2015 R2-SP2 ?

Can anyone confirm if layers on materials are working on 2015 R2-SP2?

I cannot make them work. Or am I missing something?

Never mind, It does not work with Redshift, that is the problem. I thought I had mental ray enabled, but it was using Redshift. :ymapplause:
