It's a start, wish they'd done this a long time ago though, it could have been a very attractive USP. Now with mari, zbrush, 3dcoat the marketplace is a little more crowded.

Not impressed at all! Really, I don't understand Maxon at all. I used Bodypaint a lot back then when it was not integrated into C4D -around v8.2- It was great and unique with a bright future ahead but after each release without any any single improvement, it started to fall behind the competition. Now is time for Ptex and PBR texturing and there is no words about them. For me Maxon is doing a great job for the new guys on the 3D block; a shiny, polished app on the surface but superficial and shallow inside.
