Well, basics is, get loader node (LD), decide which sequence to open. Select loader node, get saver (SV), decide where to save the result. Everything else generally goes in between (select some node, RMB to insert new node after selected one). Small dots on bottom are to decide, in which view node is displayed. Merge node (MRG) is composite of two inputs. Yellow triangle is input, white quad is output, blue triangle is input for control mask, green is foreground (in case of merge node or such).

P.S. just noticed, it seems they removed :) a bunch of features from Primatte keyer in Fusion 8 (compared to 7). Yeah I know, getting the such tool for free is great gift, but this probably tells something about future of free Fusion...

Have been using fusion since the first mac Beta and have to say I am very enthused about it. Reminds me a lot of shake. Its missing a few bells , but nothing that my students will ever touch, so its a very big win for us.

Thanks Mathaeus, Draise. So it is good enough to integrate 3D into footage Angus?

I have only done fairly basic stuff. (ie import ford gb40 and render ), but yes it is actually one of its big strengths.
