Wow... I wonder if there will be a day a machine goes out, takes the photograph, then applies it's nueral network algorithms, produces a piece, it get's displayed in a gallery to humans, and then human buy it for high auctioned prices - and the creator of the machine gets the royalties...

Yes, that's quite obvious, but I was wondering about the ultimate effect it would have,
would it still be watchable as a coherent animation or would it "wash out" into something unwatchable?

There is (or was?) something called VideoGogh from RE:Vision which analized the flow of outlines and produced pretty impressive anims (when jittering some settings to make it look more like each frame were individually painted)


But this seems like it takes it a step further by reproducing an input style. Interesting though!
