Nice updates!

Considering Blender to be opensource, you'd think it'd be possible to splice that package too, no?

I would assume it is possible - it depends on certain callbacks being available but I would guess that they are already there. fyi Blender is not currently on our roadmap. We will revisit this later in the year once we've had Fabric 2 in people's hands for a while and have a better sense of what people want. That doesn't stop other people doing the work themselves, there are no dependencies on us for it to happen.
