dual monitor setup (again)

Here is a quick Maya interface question: what would be the best way
to emulate Softimage’s “fixed” dual monitor setup.
So far I have been using the dualview plugin by “staschi”,
but I was wondering if there were other/better solutions.


PS: I know about the possibility to tear off stuff and dragging it to the desired monitor, but I find that rather "messy" frankly.
