SI2011 has been released (in Subscription Center)

Just wanted to inform you, Softimage 2011 has just shown up in my "Subscription Center".
(This doesn't, however, necessarily mean it will already be there for everyone, judging by the way it was handled last time)

Make sure to check your "Coverage Report" for a new serial number and a new product key...

PS - Don't forget the SI2011 installation tutorials by Stephen Blair, that I pointed to in this thread

very late edit: if you're suffering from installation/licensing woes feel free to post them in this thread. Try to be specific as to what steps lead you to getting stuck, so we can try to help...

Up to now:
* emFluid3, emRPC and emPolygonizer installed fine, but we'll see how well they actually work...

Installed, but the usual no interactive license error. Can you download the new license file from the subscrition centre, or is it the usual 2 day wait for the license dept.

You're probably right. But I was hoping this thread could function as a nice mix of installation/licensing woes and occasional exclamations of joy.
Bug reports would belong in a separate thread, if only for easier future reference...

As I spent some time writing a post on installing/licensing SI2011 on the XSIBase, I just merely copy this here. It might prove helpful (although there are no shocking tricks involved):

Sorry, but I just don't get it. I am no brilliant computer geek, but I got my new installation to work within 45 minutes. And there was some double-checking my facts before going to the registeronce-website...
Some pointers for installing a network license:
- Go to the Subscription Center, go to your "Coverage Report", click on your contract number and locate your serial and product key on the bottom of that page...
- Locate your old/last license file. Open this in a text editor, read what's on the line after "SERVER" and you've got your server name and your server-id. Make a note of these, you'll need them on the registeronce website....
- Install the software. If you've got a Networked License, make sure you tell the installer so, as it's set to "standalone" by default
- Go to the registeronce website to register... (https://registeronce.autodesk.com/)
- Find a nice place to put your new license in
- Start LMTools
- On the Stop/Start/Reread tab press Stop Server
- On the Config Services tab: Press browse behind "Path to the license file" to point this to the new license file
- Stop/Start/Reread tab: Start Server...

Keep in mind, I'm no Autodesk employee and all these instructions are obviously without any warranty...

All of the above obviously only applies if you've somehow got a License Server running in the past...

With a little more testing, there seems to be something funky going on with emFluid3. The fluid effect won't fill the whole fluid box but only a small portion of it. It could just be me (setting it up wrong) but I think I got all the settings right... Anyway, I've used it in production with SI2010 and the behaviour was quite different. Well, we'll surely get a SI2011 compatibility update from Eric Mootz some time soon

Just wanted to say thanks for the step-by-step. I realize some folks are still having difficulty getting 2011 running, but it worked for me. (Last year I had all kinds of fun... took a couple days to sort out. This year... about half an hour.

My exclamations of joy ran out after i saw for the 1000000000 time the difference between the 3 apps Mental Ray integration..
i was testing SI2011 and i couldnt believe i cant find anything about Mental Ray stuff wich actually works in Max and Maya..
Cant use Final gather with IP becuase activating FG automatically disables IP.
Dont see where the Progressive Rendering mode is, the IBL improvements are hidden too..

i just dont get it, atm i'm just pissed because it makes no sense to me..once again this difference between packages is absurd.
