Their release cycle is absolutely crazy, 3 month from the 2.72 now, and look at the features list !
This is free software and they do better than an "Update" from a full year at Autodesk.

This is very encouraging. By the time SI is outdated Blender will be ready to take it's place if development continues like this.

2015 looks to be a pretty promising year for development in important areas. Great to see.
