Bevel Shortcut

Hi all, i've assigned in the Keyboard Mapping a shortcut to Bevel command, but when i apply, no context menu open.... why?

Is it the same when you apply a bevel with the right clic menu ?
If yes, check your preferences, there is an option disabled about it.

no, when i bevel trought menu it works; but i figured out: dunno why but when i assign the shorctu with Ctrl the menu doesn't appear, if i assign it with Shift it appears.

I think it's normal : try to apply any tool with "ctrl" pushed, and you'll notice that you won't have any control pannel anymore. "ctrl" is a specific shortcut to avoid control panels to pop up... May be you can modify it, but I'm not sure.
