Part of UI missing

I tried looking through the help files and google with no avail. What has happened is the error message and LMB mouse hints have disappeared from the UI at the bottom of the screen and I can't seem to figure out how this happened or how to get them back.

If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it, I'm using Mod Tool 7.5 if it matters.

Weird. I just checked (even on the Mod Tool) and the status line is about the one thing I cannot seem to deliberately make disappear. Is it gone just in the Default Layout or the Compositing and Tools Development Environment Layout as well? First thing to try would be to run a runonce.bat command and perhaps resetting your User preference.
And do report back if that doesn't work. These are just the "classic" first-aid tools! ;)

Weirdest thing, just opened the program to check what you suggested and it's just all the sudden back, the program had been restarted a few times too before and it never came back but now it is. Weird cause like you said I couldn't find any info about toggling this unlike the animation toolbar above it.

I had the same issue, at some point it appeared again. Another issue I had is that the app window sometimes goes into "always in front" mode, I think it happens while rendering regions.
