Using my network license on another network

I have a network license that's distributed by my main workstation, but I want to take one of my render nodes to a client's office and work there. Will I have to re-install Softimage on that node and change the license method to standalone -- or can I just set that in the setenv.bat file before removing from the network? Will anything weird happen when I try to open Softimage once I'm at the new location?
