Change color by neg/pos movement

Post by sant0s » 14 May 2014, 15:43

Hey :)

I have to create some winds that change there color depending on temperatur.
Means, it should become red in the valley and cool down to blue on the peak of the mountain.

Changing the color depending on y-value is easy, but how to read out, if the particles is moving up or down?

Do I have to define the highest and lowest point or does ICE have something that knows, the particle is moving up/down?

Thx alot!
