"good news" (Planet Softimage)

Post by Hirazi Blue » 01 Mar 2010, 21:39

This has been posted by Mark Schoennagel on the 22th of February, but came to my attention only today:
Hopefully many of you are able to make it to GDC this year as I have some pretty cool new stuff to show you in the next release of Softimage! Yup, it's also that time of year again too, new release time!!! I can't go deep into details yet but there are a lot of really great new updates coming along, especially with ICE, Face Robot and you folks with Nvidia cards. Actually, an entirely new paradigm in rigging will be unveiled at the show that was architected by Phil Taylor.

the new paradigm... hmmm bet it's some to do with the ice kinematics :)

do you guys like face robot? i'm still not so confident that it's worth the time figuring out how to use ('cause i do have a lot to learn, not the other way around).

Seems like a fair guess, as Phil Taylor once the driving force behind the "unsupported" ICE-Kinematics... :D

As for Face Robot: a nice big present, I haven't unwrapped yet... :ymparty:
