After establishing a well entrenched position in motion graphics, Maxon announced that it is partnering with Side Effects software to develop a plugin that gives Cinema 4D users access to the Houdini Engine. According to Harald Egel, Maxon's CEO, "integrating Houdini’s procedural workflow and VFX tools inside Cinema 4D will offer our users a streamlined experience to collaborate with Houdini artists".
