Comb Hair Using Curves?

Hi all,

from what I understand Si hair is bascially Joe Alter's Shave&Haircut/Max Hair&Fur.
In both Max and Maya there's a "(Re-)Comb Hair Using Curves"-function. Can this be done in SI as well?
There's nothing like that in the Hair menu as far as I can tell, but I'm wondering if maybe there's another way to do this or it's "hidden" somewhere?

If not is there a way to import styled hair from Max/Maya?

For strands i made an ice compound which does that, I'll post it next week when I'm back from vacation. Interpolation will be a bit different probably to those systems.

But I'm guessing that means there's no way to do it with regular hair?

Here it is, you need existing hair root points for it. If you need a compound for that, I can post that too.

Plug any number of guide curves in and it interpolates the strands, either in global space or something I called "scalp space" which looks better imho.

Let me know if it's easy enough to use.
