Any way to hide Add-on paths in the file browser?

Just a quick question: is there any way to customize how the file open dialog displays when you click Paths? Switching projects sometimes is a little annoying when there's a whole list of Add-On paths taking up most of the space. Or is there a nicer project manager to use?
