Slightly less potent maybe, but Belgian, not Bavarian (quite the difference IMHO) and following the current trend in the wonderful world of animation, Belgian brewer Jessenhofke actually brews a Maya beer. If we can convince them to produce a "entertainment creation suite premium" beer, we wouldn't be needing anymore software to get by...

Don't know is it off topic or not. Anyway, best animator's friend is Automatic rendering machine. Featuring multiple pass rendering, smoothing in second pass as well.
