"X"Day for all???

Post by Hirazi Blue » 30 Jan 2010, 11:40

Now that the 3ds MAX team has revealed (some of) their plans for Project XBR, I was wondering, if this new openness at Autodesk could lead to some indication where Softimage is heading also?
Or, failing that, could someone explain where this imho quite unprecedented openness about Project XBR stems from (and why the shareholders won't mind)? :D
Stay safe, sane & healthy!

After you bring out worthless update after worthless update, and users start to complain, what's the best way to keep customers and shareholders happy?
Tell them the 'future'......

They already have the most modern core for 3D, and it's in Softimage. Maya seems to die a slow death as there's not much happening there, and Max is only big because of the vast amount of plugins you can use, because most of the build-in tools don't work properly.

But that's my opinion......

And as Softimage is concerned, I think the next version will have some interesting new features........... :-
